We have had the opportunity to visit some of our partners and see first-hand the incredible work that they're doing.
BREATH OF HEAVEN CHILDREN'S MINISTRIES
Lusaka, Zambia
On a visit in 2024 to our partner and friends at Breath of Heaven Children’s Village, we met the team who have made it into a peaceful sanctuary for almost 100 orphaned and vulnerable children in Lusaka, Zambia.
We had the opportunity to meet the amazing mothers who care for and love the children, the dedicated teachers at the primary, secondary and vocational training schools and the incredible staff at the clinic.
We loved connecting with everyone and spending time with the friendly children, the joy that they each contain is contagious.
It was wonderful to observe donated items such as equipment for Hope Clinic, books in the library and training supplies for the Vocational Training School being used to help and educate.
Breath of Heaven certainly lives up to its name!
GATHERING TOGETHER
Kelso, South Africa
During our partner visit to our dear friends at Gathering Together, we had the opportunity to witness their leadership training sessions, providing valuable skills on how to be good neighbors and how to resolve daily challenges with community leaders. We also observed their crèche, homework club, and clinic in action, all contributing to the well-being and development of local families.
Shane Olson and his late wife Lara founded Gathering Together, an organization that has been serving and restoring communities in Asia and Africa for many years. Their heartbeat is getting people and organizations within communities to work together to bring about lasting impact and change. It brings us joy to partner with them to achieve this mission.
It was wonderful to witness Shane's passion for developing leaders and encouraging them to bring about positive change in their communities during the training sessions.
DICKENS & STEPH LIKHANGA
Dakar, Senegal
In April 2025, Esmè and Jenny Page, our long-standing partner from UCA, visited Steph and Dickens Likhanga in Dakar. Dickens serves as the Director of Technology at Dakar Academy, where he oversees the tech infrastructure across all three campuses in the greater Dakar area. Steph is a dedicated High School counselor, who holistically serves the students by fostering wholeness in their lives and by creating pathways that enable future academic success.
During their visit, Esmè and Jenny had the privilege of sharing with the students through chapel and youth group sessions. Jenny also led a leadership training workshop for the high school class officers.
They spent meaningful time encouraging Steph and Dickens in their vital and transformative work.
LIKHANGA CHAMPIONSHIP CUP &
HEART FOR ORPHANS
Kenya
In December 2025, Kendall and her husband, Sfundo, visited our partners in Kenya, taking time to encourage and strengthen relationships on the ground.
They spent time with Steph and Dickens Likhanga in Dickens’ home village of Kakamega, where they attended the Likhanga Championship Cup (LCC), a community soccer tournament supported by 100 West that gives young people hope and purpose through sport. Sfundo played in a friendly match, while Kendall assisted with activities for the younger children.
Their journey continued to Lodwar, where they visited Heart for Orphans, a transition home providing a safe and loving environment for orphaned and abandoned children and teenagers. There, they connected with the house parents and kids, and saw firsthand the impact of consistent care and discipleship.

In May 2026, Jon and Judy had the opportunity to connect with James, a Global Catalyst on the NOVO Global Partners Lead Team, and other friends from NOVO. It was a meaningful time of fellowship as they shared updates on their lives, encouraged one another, and heard about the ministry work each is involved in.
These opportunities to connect strengthen relationships and deepen our shared commitment to advancing the gospel around the world.
